SCOPE : a) To formulate Indian Standards for Methods for Sampling and test for Petroleum products, Lubricants, gaseous fuel, bio-fuel, fuels form synthesis origin and their related Products; and b) To organize correlation schemes for evaluating the accuracy and the performance of fuel and lubricant testing engines.
