| SCOPE : | To prepare standards: a) on solid electrical insulating materials. b) on guiding principles and on the philosophy of evaluation of insulation systems in general c) for functional test programmes and methods intended for evaluation of possible insulation systems and their suitability for use in electrical equipment. d) for classification of insulation systems based upon their capability to withstand the complex of the most important service determined by the conditions of the use of insulation in equipment. |
