Scope :
‘To formulate Indian Standards on terminology, test methods, specifications, codes of practice for the application, performance evaluation, safety and sustainability of smart textiles which include, but are not limited to: phase change textiles, shape change textiles, chromic textiles, auxetic textiles, dilating and shear thickening textiles, any other smart textile that does not involve electronic sensors or signals measurements.’
