EED2 : Environment Pollution

Scope : To formulate Indian Standards on i) Guidelines and Codes of Practices for control of pollution; ii) Terminology, methods of sampling and characterization of soil (excluding engineering and agricultural purposes); iii) Codes of Practices and Guidelines on reduction, recycling, reuse, treatment and disposal of wastes (other than solid wastes); iv) Characterization and classification of wastes (other than solid wastes).
