Scope : STANDARDIZATION OF PIPES, FITTINGS AND AUXILIARIES INTENDED FOR THE TRANSPORT OF FLUIDS AND FOR CABLE DUCTING MADE FROM ALL TYPES OF PLASTIC MATERIALS INCLUDING REINFORCED PLASTICS METAL FITTINGS AND RUBBER GASKETS USED WITH PLASTIC PIPES.THE SCOPE FURTHER COVERS STANDARDIZATION FOR DIMENSIONS AND THEIR TOLERANCES, REQUIREMENTS AND TEST METHODS FOR CHEMICAL, MECHANICAL AND PHYSICAL PROPERTIES AS RELEVANT TO PARTICULAR APPLICATION AND CODES OF PRACTICES FOR LAYING AND INSTALLATION
