Minimum detection limit and the range of test method along with corresponding accuracy, repeatability, precision and reproducibility aspects of test methods. iii. Potential interference radicals and methods to mask the same. iv. Identification of a referee method in case where 2 or more methods are prescribed for measurement of one parameter. v. To incorporate any APHA/ISO etc in the standards without carrying out trials. vi. To give reference to other standards providing test methods using ICP-MS or ICP-AAS. vii. To suggest means of disposal of chemicals. viii. Review the ISO projects related to physical, chemical and biochemical method and decided the designated experts for the ISO Projects. ix. CHD 36 : P2 1 To develop and update standards on biological methods for the determination of water quality, ensuring alignment with international best practices. 2 To review existing biological test methods for water and wastewater and recommend improvements or new methodologies. 3 To identify and engage experts working in the field of biological methods to contribute actively to standardization efforts at the national and international levels. 4 To collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including academic institutions, research organizations, industry representatives, and regulatory bodies, to enhance the implementation of biological methods. 5 To monitor and contribute to the development of relevant international standards under ISO/TC 147 and provide national perspectives through BIS. 28-02-2025 31-12-2025 6
