The microbiological method is old and there is a lot of variability in this method so a need was felt to revise the standard. In the first revision of the standard, the microbiological method has been replaced by the method based on AOAC 2013.13 “Determination of Folate in Infant Formula and Adult/Pediatric Nutritional Formula by Ultra-High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry”. | |
