ICT skills such as communication, collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and problem solving in terms of the core of basic education, along with reading, writing, arithmetic and philosophical knowledge enrichment are integral part of knowledge development. As the youth constitute more than 67% of the Indian population, it is mandatory to design a curriculum that aids skill development of youth along with providing quality basic education with emphasis on skill development and use of ICT for empowering the youth. The Digital India campaign (2015) has emerged as a synonym for technology revolution in India. To achieve the triple goals of Digital India Campaign i.e., skill, scale and speed, the use of ICT has become essential in almost every sphere.
