| 1 | The committee responsible for the formulation of this standard observed that the average ITA° range prescribed in ISO 24444 : 2019 ‘Cosmetics — Sun protection test methods — In vivo determination of sun protection factor (SPF)’ was 41° to 55°, whereas the average ITA° in Indian Population ranges from ITA -30° to 50°. Thus, the committee decided to revise the standard with the modification in the Average ITA° range. | |
